Itinerary

Meet your guide near Mihai Viteazul Statue in University Square, the starting point of your festive adventure. You’ll begin with an introduction to Bucharest’s history and its unique winter traditions, before strolling through streets glittering with lights and decorations.

Your first stop brings the cozy scent of mulled wine and gingerbread, followed by a visit to one of the city’s charming Christmas markets, where you’ll meet local artisans and discover handmade gifts that carry the spirit of Romanian craftsmanship.

Along the way, you’ll hear how Christmas was celebrated during the royal era, how it changed under communism when Santa Claus was replaced by “Old Man Frost,” and how Bucharest has reinvented the season with joy and authenticity.

The tour ends at Constitution Square, in front of the Palace of the Parliament — a grand finale surrounded by dazzling lights, live carols, and festive cheer.
